We currently have a vacancy for a Delivery Driver with a base in Toughers, Naas, Co. Kildare.
The van driver will deliver and collect clothing from our stores throughout the country.
This is a full time role, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday work.
Overview of role: Offer every assistance to retail shop teams to increase sales & profits for the benefit of people who are blind and vision impaired, supporting and endorsing the aims and values of the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Support NCBI Retail shops by collecting and delivering clothing and furniture. Ensure that all furniture is safely secured in vehicles and all parts are intact
- Support NCBI Retail shops by assisting with furniture assembly & shop displays and removing (to the dump) any rubbish or unsalable furnishings
- Ensure textile clothing banks are emptied with sufficient regularityMaintain assigned vehicle with regard to daily/weekly driver checks
